Regional Litter Plan and Illegal Dumping
Barwon South West Waste and Resource Recovery Group is currently developing a Regional Litter and Illegal Dumping Plan (the Litter Plan). The purpose of the Litter Plan is to identify the top five litter and illegal dumping issues for the region and outline key actions that will address these issues.
To help develop the Litter Plan, we want to hear your views, ideas and priorities for reducing litter and illegal dumping in the region. There are a couple of ways you can contribute:
We have two surveys open for community members and groups or organisations who are involved in litter and illegal dumping clean-up and prevention activities.
The survey only takes 10-15 minutes to complete and is confidential and anonymous. By completing the survey, you can go in the running to win one of four $50 gift cards! Please share the survey with others in the region.
The surveys close at midnight Sunday 8 September.
Following the survey, BSWWRRG will hold two workshops to confirm the top five litter and illegal dumping issues for the region and identify key actions to address these issues. These actions will inform the development of the Litter Plan.
